Lobi Stars returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win over El Kanemi Warriors at home on Wednesday, March 2 a result which gets them to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Tony Okpotu scored a brace from the spot with Nanem Imenger scoring the third.
In other match-day four games, Abia Warriors and Kano Pillars battled to a goalless draw  at the Umuahia Township Stadium while MFM FC continued their  impressive home form by securing a hard fought 2-1 win against Sunshine Stars at the Agege Township Stadium.
Musa Newman opened scoring for MFM against his former club but Kadiri Samad equalised for the away side.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah trashed Shooting Stars 3-1 in Nnewi with Brazilian striker Alberico Barbosa scoring for the home side.
Giwa FC beat Rivers United 2-1 with Opitoke Moses and David Sunday getting the goals while Godwin Obaje scored a brace as Wikki Tourists beat Plateau United 3-0 in Bauchi.
Akwa United heap more pressure on Heartland with a 2-1 win at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo while Niger Tornadoes beat Nasarawa United 2-0  at Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
Warri Wolves and Rangers ended their game in a goalless draw in Warri.
