Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maxwell are football best friends who have won 10 trophies together

With footballers always moving around and changing clubs, it’s hard for them to keep a friendship for a very long time during their active playing days.But for Paris Saint-Germain stars, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maxwell, they have been able to do that because they have coincidental played together at four clubs together-Ajax, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.They first met in 2001 after Ibrahimovic left hometown club, Malmo for Ajax while Maxwell came in from southern Brazil.

“I came to Amsterdam totally alone, and I had problems in the first month,” Ibra is quotred to say by Daily Mail.“After two weeks I called Maxwell and I said I have problems, he was like ‘OK’, because Maxwell is the best guy in the world. I mean if you want to think of a teddy bear you have Maxwell. I called him I said ‘listen I don't have food at home, I need help’, and he said ‘OK come to my place’.
“He put me on the floor, with a mattress to sleep on. I slept in his house, I was hanging out with him, eating food and driving to training together.

“And after one month the salary came and it became easier for me.”
That was how their friendship began.

Today the PSG stars have won 10 league titles in four different countries together.No other footballers have ever won more major trophies while playing together for different clubs.

They just won the 2016 Ligue 1 title in addition to three others they won consecutively.
They have won three Serie A trophies together with Inter from 2007 to 2009, one La Liga with Barcelona in in 2010, and the two Eredivisie they won in Neatherland in 2002 and 2004.

Maxwell however has one trophy that has evaded Ibra all through his career, the Champions League.
While Ibra left Barcelona just after one season, Maxwell remained to pick up biggest prize in club football.
