Keshi was sacked in July 2015 by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over what they called 'lack of commitment' on the side on the coach.
The Delta State born coach has now stated that Oliseh’s invitation to the hearing at the National Assembly is act of favoritism.The Ex-Super Eagles defender is of the opinion that other past Super Eagles coaches should have been given the same opportunity to voice about their dismissal.
“I might be mourning the exit of my life partner but the fact remains that Nigerian football is being unduly distracted and the only way to get it back on track is to ask the real stake-holders to come together and talk,” Keshi said through his manager Emmanuel Addo as quoted by Football Naija.
“Most of the coaches in the past, he reasoned were sacked but Oliseh chose to resign, so why the special interest on him. Whether they are coaches, ex-internationals or sports politicians, it’s about time (we all got the chance) to talk and talk seriously.”
Keshi led the Super Eagles in three spells.
He became the first Nigerian to win the African Cup of Nations as a player and as a coach after leading the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the title in 2013.After the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Keshi's deal was not renewed but he however returned on a match-by-match deal, which ended in November, 2014 after failing to qualify the Super Eagles for the 2015 AFCON.
He returned as coach in April, 2015 before he was sacked.
