In another incident, the singer claimed he was kidnapped at gunpoint by a Los Angeles jeweler that he met in the middle of the night to consummate a deal for a $225,000 watch. The LAPD investigated the November 2015 incident and didn't find evidence to back up Kingston's story. It was chalked up as a business deal gone bad and no charges were filed.Kingston is now being sued by Haimov Jewelers in Florida.
TMZ reports that he traded in a used Rolex for a new one, leaving a balance of $25,000. He also walked out with a $19,000 bracelet, promising to come back the next day to pay for the items.
Kingston allegedly never made good on his promise, which led to this latest suit. We'll update you with information on how this gets resolved.
