Super Eagles of Nigeria to host Pharaohs of Egypt on March, 25

The Nigeria Football Federation have confirmed Friday, March, 25 as the date for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations clash between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and The Pharaohs of Egypt. There have been confusions over the date of the clash which was initially scheduled to hold on Wednesday, March 23.
The change was made by NFF after a plea from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for them to ensure that they are two days of rest before the return leg. NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi said on Thursday: “We have now moved the match forward by 24 hours, so we will play on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 will serve as the day for the two teams to travel, while March 27 and 28 will be rest days before the return leg on Tuesday, March 29.”

Nigeria will host Egypt at the Egypt at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Egypt are on top of the group with maximum six points after beating Tanzania at home and Chad away while Nigeria are second with four points after a win and a draw.
