Peace Hyde wins 2016 African Broadcaster of the Year
The 6th Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards took place in Abuja this weekend and Ghanaian broadcaster, Peace Hyde emerged winner in the ‘The African Broadcaster of the Year’ female people’s choice category.
The Forbes Africa Correspondent and Media Personality won against heavy weights like South Africa’s Bonang Matheba, Nigeria’s Dolapo Oni and Stephanie Coker. Voted as one of the top 50 most influential people in Ghana, Peace Hyde is the founder of a leading education and entrepreneurship brand, Aim Higher Africa for which she was recently awarded the ‘Young CEO Global Leader’ award.
She has also been recently nominated for ‘International Business Woman of the Year’ and ‘Business Woman of the year’ categories in the prestigious Women 4 Africa award – whose ceremony is taking place in May this year in London.
