Samson Siasia wants Super Eagles players Odion Ighalo & John Obi Mikel for 2016 Olympic Games

Coach of the Nigeria U-23 side, Samson Siasia has revealed the he wants Premier League stars, Odion Ighalo and John Obi Mikel to be his is squad for 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Ighalo has netted 15 league goals for Watford this season and Siasia says he wants the striker to score goals for his team in Rio.
“We need him to score goals for us. Odion is the only Super Eagles player playing and scoring goals in the Premiership," Siasia told newsmen in Abuja.
"Everybody is looking at him and he is a good boy, gentle and disciplined. I can tell you that if he is in good shape when we want to go to the tournament, he will of course be one of the players we want to pick.

We need somebody like him to score for us.” Siasia dropped Mikel from his team to the 2008 Olympic Games over his failure to show up for a crucial qualifier but he has handed the midfielder a lifeline ahea d of Rio 2016.
“As for Mikel, if he shows serious interest in being at the games, then I will go into frank talks with him,” Siasia said
