Ivory Coast international Steve Gohouri missing on transit from Germany to Paris

Ivory Coast international, Steve Gohouri has been declared missing by the German police.
The former Borussia Moechengladbach defender was allegedly travelling from Germany to Paris before he vanished.

The TSV Steinbach (in the German fourth division) defender have been declared missing by his family who have filed a missing person report in Duesseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, the state in which he has a registered address. The 34-year-old was last seen at the Christmas party of his club where he told teammates that he will be traveling to Paris to see some family members.
"We are all speechless," Steinbach coach Thomas Brdaric told local paper RevierSport.
"Steve and I said goodbye to each other last Friday.
He told me that he was going to travel to his family in Paris, but it's become clear that he never arrived.
"In about two weeks, you get to know someone a little.
"They were very intense weeks for us, from a sporting point of view.
"There is speculation, and I hope that it's not true, that he had personal problems and has abandoned his responsibilities."He shouldn't do that to his family or his employer.

"We all hope that Steve will shed some light on this as quickly as possible."
34-year-old defender had spells at Wigan Athletic, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Moechengladbach during his career.
He has 13 caps for the Ivory Coast national team.
