The Gunners are set to finish the season without a trophy after starting with lot of promises.
Having won back to back FA Cup trophies, Arsenal were favourites to win the Premier League this season.With Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United stuttering this season, Wenger’s men had just Leicester City and Tottentam to challenge for the title.

They are however 11 points off league leaders, Leicester and seven behind Spurs.
Wenger according to reports feels let down by a host of his players especially his English core of Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.The Arsenal manager will be given around £80 million to spend in the summer transfer window to improve his squad and hopes to make Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka, 23, his first signing.
He also wants a top striker and a central defender.

Squawka reports that Oxlade-Chamberlain is in a contract stand-off with the club and is attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester City, West Ham and Southampton.Walcott and Gibbs are also the other two English players who will make way for other players.

Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina, Per Mertesacker, Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and club captain Mikel Arteta will also be offloaded by the club according to the report.
Wojciech Szczesny who is on loan at Roma is still thought to have a future at Arsenal.
