Man arrested for chaining his son for 2 months

A middle aged man, Akanbi Yusuf, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, after he chained his 35-year-old son, Yusuf, for two months and hiding him in his house in the Dopemu area of the state.By th time the victim was rescued, his hands were already decaying as a result of injuries he sustained from the iron chains.

In his defence during his interrogation, the older Lawal said his son had been disgracing him and brining shame to the family and that was why he had him chained so as not to let him out.
Respite came for the victim when his close friend, Tayo Olukoju, discovered him in the room where he was hidden by his father after he had been declared missing by the father.
